Hearing noise in my ears for the past month and a half. what is it?

Ok so about two months ago i had swine flu. and about a week after it both my ears both just started ringing but the only time i could hear it was when i put my head on a pillow or my finger in my ear. it was kindve a high pitch rushing noise. then i noticed it.. and since then ive had problem after problem. first about three weeks ago i started too notice my left ear go high pitch so that i could hear it even if there was another noise there. So i went to the doctors they gave me medication and drops. the drops soothed it a bit and the medication pretty much got rid of it. then my new drops made my ear infection worse. which turned the high pitch innto a bit of a roar. Its now calmed down back to the high pitched when i can only hear it when its quiet. Thus morning i woke up and my ears and my eustachian tubes felt like they had a migraine. I have an ENT appointment in 2 months but i just want to know if anyones ever had this before and if they got rid of it. because i cant sleep properly anymore and its annoying !!! im 16 by the way and im male
