HELP! Old children's book!?

This is not a real answer and I'm sorry about that, but I remember this book. I cannot remember the name of it, but I vividly recall the story with the boy who finds the tipped over boat. I don't recall the others, but I remember the illustration of that mermaid story very well. Good luck finding it.
