Where are some good mountains to snowboard around the application mountains,i.e.North Carolina,West Virginia?

Looking for some reasonably priced decent ski resorts in the Mid East, in North Carolina and West Virginia areas. A good weekend place to snowboard for a couple of days, I go to Colorado every year but now I have my own board I want to go more often to places closer to me that I can drive to. I live in Alabama.
