Is Social Security Going to Be cut?

I get surivors benefits because my mother died 2 years ago, so its just me, my brother, and our dad. My dad works 2 low paying jobs and all that money goes to paying bills. The money from Social Security is how we get our food and other house hold neccessities. So i'm just wondering are they really going to stop giving people the Social Security checks?
