accidental meaning his liver couldn't function properly, system couldn't handle it, medications and alcohol combined caused body failure, breathing. So, if he had very high drug/alcohol levels, that would be more consistent with overdose intent. but since his liver couldn't process meds/alcohol, it became toxic at lower levels, even if this was his prescribed dose. He had a very serious illness that seemed to be progressing to other vital systems. I'm sorry for your loss and deep pain.
