Can I cook a frozen turkey roast without thawing it?

I have a frozen erball turkey roast (3 lbs) in my freezer that I want to roast. Can I roast it without thawing it first? The back of the package says I can, but I've never done it. Do I rub anything on it as I would a thawed turkey? Any recipe ideas? Help! (Oh, and it's boneless.)
