Do the ruling elite feel threatened by the common man using the internet?

they are not worried as most information or disinformation is from sources the cam mostly control. also they can track mail etc that threatens to open a tin of worms and put in place contingency plans and smear actions against a group or individual. in exceptional cases problems are made to go away.
