English vs French, which language has more confusing or difficult grammatical rules?

English of course. It is awfully inconsistent and jumps from one to another. English has like 16 different conjugations (verb groups) whereas french only has -er and -ir verbs with a bit of irregulars. And English verbs are just as hard to learn as French, even harder as ESL learners usually learn english with three principle parts whereas in french, you can usually p with knowing two parts, the infinitive and the past participle. Also, English has too many prepositions (most annoying for non native speakers) whereas French has relatively less than English. English is just confusing!
