Having colored tablecloths with contrasting color at reception: Is it tacky?

it's not tacky at all. Look at all the pics on theknot.com and you will see not only colored tablecloths, but also patterend ones! We are beyond the "white only" years. Do what you want. I think it sounds beautiful.
