I need help on chooseing a new hard drive?

Sort of hard to answer this one without more info on the system specs of the box you want to put this in and what specific types of games you want to play. On the given info the DeskStar at over twice the capacity and also being SATA with bigger buffer on the new model if I recall correctly is obviously a better choice. Quick check on the net WD $300, Hitachi @ TigerDirect $170. More drive space available equals bigger swap file availability for OS. I'm going to ume your running a Windows box.
