Transmission failure or something else?

Today I turned on my 94 Ford Bronco. There were no interior lights, heat, odometer or tachometer and the transmission was slipping horribly. I thought it might be an electrical issue, but even after it set for over 8 hours it only slipped and handled worse. There were no previous symptoms before today.
