Why not believe in God?
If you don't believe in a specific religion, then that's your belief. But how can you deny God exists? Let me be more general. When I say God, I mean a supernatural force, or omniscient presence, or whatever your take on that is. I'm a Christian and I believe in God. Is it becasue you can't see him so therefore he doesn't exist? Consider the fact that people couldn't "see" atoms for a long time. Did they not exist because they were seen? Seen or unseen they were present. And cells, just because people couldn't 'see" them doesn't mean they didn't exist in the 1300s. Do you not believe in God because you don't like religion? Consider that you shouldn't blame God for the way people interpret him anymore than you can blame a history book for you failing a quiz. Though I'm not Muslim, I don't blame Allah for 9/11, because he didn't fly a plane into the towers. Don't believe in God because you feel he doesn't answer prayers? Is what your asking reasonable in the first place? If you screw around in a cl all semester and don't study for the exam, and then pray to p it, don't blame God for your failure.. God isn't a genie in a bottle, there for you to insult and ridicule to your hearts delight, but the one who's to blame for all of the problems. Share your thoughts, and don't be rude. Just want to hear what you all think. And try to be creative, no stupid two word answers like "because i don't like Christians". Be specific, and share your mind!
