With most of our military equipment and personnel in Iraq near design end, are we near the end of the war?

In military operations or any other undertaking, in most cases; all resources are usually committed to exploit success. When everything is committed in the face of failure the loss is even greater. FDR said "We have nothing to fear, but fear it self!" If we really want to win any war, the full force of the American people must be behind the effort. Today fear is being used for election purposes. The people are not expected to do anything to support the war effort. Why? It would not be politically correct to have a draft or even make the people drive slower to conserve fuel. If we could win in Iraq, what would we have ... oil which will soon be obsolete.
